Ocampo is a 4.5 million tonne-per-year heap leach operation combining a grinding circuit, agitated cyanide leach, low-grade Merrill-Crowe gold processing plant, and a high-grade Merrill-Crowe plant with dry-stacked tailings facility — handling 1,500 tonnes per day of high-grade ore from the underground mine. A textbook integrated processing complex executed end-to-end by KCA.
