Doré Bar Smelting & Gold Room Equipment

Tilting-crucible furnaces in three sizes — 23 kg / 45 kg / 84 kg gold concentrate per single charge

The final step of every precious-metals operation is doré bar production. KCA fabricates three sizes of tilting-crucible smelting furnaces — Models 225T, 430T, and 800T — with matched hoods and wet-scrubbing systems. The tilting mechanism allows the operator to pour molten gold directly into the doré mold without removing the crucible — safer, faster, and cleaner than fixed-crucible designs.

Three Furnace Sizes

Model 225T: 23 kg gold concentrate per single charge · Model 430T: 45 kg · Model 800T: 84 kg. All capacities calculated at 30% charged by crucible volume, 2:1 flux ratio, predominantly gold concentrate. Furnaces can be fed multiple times per shift.

Construction

Refractory-lined steel construction. Firing options: natural gas, propane, or diesel. Integrated exhaust hood. Safety-interlocked tilting mechanism. Slag-tap and doré-pour mold arrangements included as part of standard delivery.

Off-Gas Scrubbing

Two-stage wet scrubbers handle SO₂, NOₓ, and particulate emissions. Designed to meet permitted emission limits in every U.S. state and applicable foreign jurisdictions. KCA also supplies stand-alone scrubbing systems for non-KCA furnaces.

Auxiliary Equipment

Complete package includes: Cascade Mold System and Mold Cart, Mold Table, Bag-House, Dust Collector, Fans / Ducting / Hoods. Optional integration with KCA Mercury Retorts and Carbon Converter for a unified gold-room.

Warranty

KCA guarantees equipment items for the cost of the items only (replacement shipping included) for 6 months after commissioning or 12 months after shipment, whichever comes first.
